Diplomas After Commencement

Students who RSVP'd to Commencement but were unable to attend will be able to come to the Office of the Registrar the afternoon of Monday, Jun 13, to pick up their diploma if it’s releasable.

Regalia
  • Regalia is required for participation in the ceremony.
  • Students may wear their own black Jostens cap and gown if it is inspected and approved by the OtR.
  • Regalia is still available through the OSU Beaver Store and they will also open at 8 a.m. on Commencement day and will have regalia available for purchase.
Diploma/Case Distribution & Photography
After Closing Remarks
  • Students celebrate with their fellow graduates on the field and then make their way to their college's distribution area.
  • They will get their photo taken twice, receive their diploma/case, and then they are free to leave the stadium.
  • Every student who has RSVP'd for Commencement will receive a diploma case.
  • Students with no outstanding graduation requirements, and with sufficient preliminary grades, will receive their actual diploma in the case.
  • Students who have already received their diploma or who still have graduation requirements to complete will have a letter in the diploma case.
