Painting Our Way Through Education!

Help me give my students supplies to finish projects completed in the art room! My students love painting, creating, and using their artistic abilities to create fun, vibrant projects in our art room!

My Students

My students are very creative, and eager to learn about the elements of art. Their love for art shines throughout their artwork.

My students come from a variety of backgrounds.

I have a mixture of seven different languages spoken in my classroom, a high percentage of special need students, as well as military students.

Please help me achieve my goal by donating!! I serve 750 students with a very minimal budget, a lot of time spending my own money on supplies.

My Project

My students are very creative, and eager to learn about the elements of art. Their love for art shines throughout their artwork.

In a thriving school of about 700 students, I teach computer skills to all grades who range from high achieving to limited English (ELL) students.

We are also privileged to serve military families and children of Barksdale Air Force Base Airmen. Each student helps diversify our population, bringing in knowledge and experience of various cultures and traditions.

No matter their academic or ability level, all of my students have different learning styles that I strive to match every day.

In return, our students work hard to learn and grow in their academics each day, completing STEM activities, RTI rotations, and computer-based math lessons, leading our school to be a "B" school!

Although this school year will be much different as we embark on a new journey of virtual learning and face-to-face instruction, I’m ready to meet these kids and make this an amazing year!

I constantly need supplies in the art room that are not covered with the small amount of money allocated for our school. If I really want these supplies for the students, I end up having to buy them using my own money.

I want my students to enjoy coming to our art room and have nice, appropriate materials to show off their final projects.

We need oil pastels for numerous art projects. We need tempura paint for our beautiful canvases we create, watercolor paper for our water based projects, and shelves to help organize our art room to make it that much more efficient!
