My sixth grade students are driven, creative, and ready to conquer writing and technology. We are from a growing city in south Bossier, Louisiana.
My students are preparing to be successful in technology and stronger writers.
They have goals, dreams, and aspirations for a successful school year. It is my hope to make sure they have the resources and everything they need to be successful.
I work with a group of kids who, in my very biased opinion, are the best in the world. These kids are so excited to come to school.
My kids have a passion for learning and want so badly to do so in a way that isn't "boring." I have kids who are very high, and kids who are extremely low and struggle with reading. My teaching has to reach all of these kids, and it is difficult at times.
I want to be able to provide for all of them inside the walls of my classroom. I want to make my classroom more engaging.
Let's get real, kids today know more about technology than we adults do. I have a goal and vision in mind of creating a classroom that enables students to use more technology.
My Project
All the school materials (paper, pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers, pencil boxes, pens, stapler and staples, markers and stencils) are to help my students start the new year right!
These are the typical classroom supplies that I would normally buy at the beginning of each school year.
These school supplies would go directly to the students and allow them to have their own individual supplies to help them be organized and successful in 6th grade. Not only that, but allowing students to have access to their own school supplies will prevent cross contamination once they come back to school.
