My Students

In a thriving school of over 700 students, I teach 25 energetic third graders who range from high achieving to limited English (ELL) students.

We are also privileged to serve military families of the Barksdale Airforce Base and their children.

Each student helps diversify our population, bringing in knowledge and experience of various cultures and traditions.

They are all-around good students. I encourage them to strive for excellence both inside of the classroom and outside as well. Students are always giving 100% and encouraging each other daily. I push for a consistent positive vibe within the classroom. I am so lucky to have a wonderful group of second graders at the best school!

My Project

The pencils for this project will impact learning on a daily basis! The pencils will be used every day in our classroom writing center, and these types of things are needed to be replaced regularly.

I like to have a stimulating and fully stocked writing center to increase student interest in this subject.

My students deserve the best, and I want to give them the best and most proficient learning tools to meet their needs. Fresh, new pencils will excite my students and get them writing more. I can't wait to see their faces when we get them.
