South Creek Community Member

We are well into the second nine weeks of school (this is week #14 of 36) and we are happy to see that our students are adjusting. Please know that second quarter progress reports will soon be released and will be posted to Skyward — OCPS' online student information system. As we move swiftly to the end of the second semester, we are encouraging students to take advantage of any tutoring opportunities (please see below). South Creek is currently offering tutoring sessions for both math and language arts plus there is a free online live tutor option through the Orange County Library System.

Parents, please check Skyward regularly to stay informed about your child’s grades, attendance, tardies, and any missing assignments. This is especially important with progress reports about to go out and only four weeks left in the grading period. You may email your child’s teachers early to help ensure your child is successful in all classes.

Quarterly Progress Report and Report Card Schedule:
I thank you for your continued support as we all strive to help each of our students and staff, Maximize their Excellence this school year and beyond. Have a wonderful week!

One of Mr. Alvis' students is giving a presentation of his argument as to why the colonies should break free from British rule.

South Creek Middle School remembers our veterans on
November 11, 2022 — Veterans Day.
Please remember that Friday, November 11 is Veterans Day. Should you pass someone actively serving, or maybe know someone who has served (some of our South Creek families likely have veterans who have worn the uniform), kindly take a quick moment to thank them. We all owe our veterans a debt of gratitude for their time, bravery, and sacrifice for this great country.
