Darian Riley

Darian Riley is in his third season as an assistant coach with the USC Upstate women's basketball program.

Riley joined the Spartans in August, 2017 after spending the previous two seasons as the video coordinator at Clemson. While at Clemson, Riley was responsible for compiling scouting reports, breaking down game film and filming practices and games.

Prior to arriving at Clemson, Riley was a graduate assistant at LSU and worked with the women's basketball team, which advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 in consectutive seasons.

A native of Metairie, La., Riley earned a BS in sports managment from LSU in 2012 and a Master's Degree in leadership, development and training in 2014. As a student at LSU, Riley played on the women's basketball scout team from 2008-2012. He also assisted in event management at the 2012 NCAA men's Final Four in New Orleans.

He now resides in Spartanburg with his wife, Alexa.
