Please read through the important procedures below before signing up for your test, including some of the Frequently Asked Questions we receive from students.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗢𝗚 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿?
       The UOG Math Accuplacer is a three-part, computerized Math Placement Test (MPT). It accurately and efficiently assesses your knowledge in Arithmetic, Qualitative Reasoning, Algebra, Statistics, Advanced Algebra and Functions. Your test results will place you in the math courses appropriate to your current level of knowledge in math.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗿?
       The Remote Math Accuplacer is the same Math Placement Test given to all new UOG applicants on Guam, but the test is hosted at Colleges on other islands in the Pacific. The purpose of having Remote Test is to help cut down travel cost for students living on other islands who need to come to Guam to take their MPT.

𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁?
       UOG charges a test fee of $25 for the Accuplacer MPT that must be made in advance.
If you haven't paid the MPT fee yet, please make your payment at the UOG Bursar's Office or online here: https://uogmath.rocks/CASHNet. You will need your MPT Fee receipt number in order to register for the test.

       2. Pay for your UOG Application fee online
       3. Receive your UOG Student ID Number (required to register for MPT)
       4. Pay for your MPT fee online here: https://commerce.cashnet.com/uog 
       5. Receive your MPT fee payment receipt (receipt number is required to register)
       6. Register for your test online here: http://uogmath.rocks/SaipanRemoteMPT

Once you are registered, a test voucher will be emailed to you within two business days with contact information to schedule your test.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁?
       The UOG Accuplacer MPT is a self-paced test with a maximum of three (3) hours to finish.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗜 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁?
       Saipan remote testing for UOG Summer/Fall 2024 Semester will be hosted in person at NMC Testing Services. Summer/Fall 2024 MPT will be available to take from March through the end of July. The remote test site will inform you of any proctoring fees, dates and times you will be able to make an appointment for your test.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁?
       1. A valid ID such as a drivers license or passport.
       2. Your Accuplacer test voucher number.
       3. Proctoring fee invoice and receipt (if required by your test site)  

*𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: Scratch paper and pencils will be provided at the test site and collected after your test. Also, there are questions on the test where you may use a calculator and Accuplacer will provide a virtual one for you during the test.
