The Staff and Faculty DanceBlue Dance Party will be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the UK Gatton Student Center, Ballroom C.

Our Story

DanceBlue is a University of Kentucky student-run organization that fundraises year-round and culminates in a 24-hour no sitting, no sleeping dance marathon. All of the money that is raised through DanceBlue is donated to the Golden Matrix Fund, established to support the kids of the DanceBlue Kentucky Children's Hospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic both today and well into the future through an endowment. DanceBlue also helps to provide funds to support research at the UK Markey Cancer Center.

The Golden Matrix Fund was created to benefit the DanceBlue KCH Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic patients and families. Childhood cancer not only affects the child physically, but it also creates many emotional and financial difficulties for the entire family. The goal of the Golden Matrix Fund is to provide care and support for the kids by bringing comfort to both patients and their families.

Each year, DanceBlue is made possible with the help of smaller events across the state that lead up to the 24 hour dance marathon in the spring. In preparation for DanceBlue 2020, UK staff and faculty have their very own DanceBlue Dance Party! The 2020 event will be held at the UK Gatton Student Center in Ballroom C on Friday, January 31, 2020.

When will my items ship? Items typically ship within 2-4 weeks after the campaign end date. While we do our best to only feature items with reliable inventory, the delivery timeline may extend if your items encounter backorder issues. Covid-19 has had an outsized impact on many items, and backorder delays are more common. We'll let you know as soon as possible if this occurs. IgniteCX does not guarantee delivery by any date. Also, please note that IgniteCX's liability of the product is complete upon delivery, as confirmed by the shipping company. When will my credit card be charged? If you are making a donation, your credit card will be charged immediately after you place your order. If you are purchasing items, your credit card will be processed within 2 business days after the end of the campaign, rather than at the time of the original order. If, for some reason, this campaign does not reach its batch order minimum requirements, your item order may be cancelled. If you purchased items and made an additional donation, your total contributions will appear on your credit card statement as two separate transactions. How will this charge read on my credit card? Can I make changes to my order? Please do your very best to be sure all of your order information is correct before placing the order.
