4-H grows future leaders. From teaching younger 4-H members to participating in regional, state, and national events, 4-H provides opportunities for young people to build life-long leadership skills.

Oregon 4-H Ambassadors

Challenge yourself to explore and build leadership skills! The Oregon 4-H Ambassador program has two levels: County and State. 4-H County Ambassadors are outstanding 8^th-12^th grade members. Please contact your local 4-H program for more information including requirements and job responsibilities.

The State 4-H State Ambassador team is a group of 10-20 outstanding Oregon 4-H youth. 4-H youth in the 9th-12th grades who are interested in rewarding experiences and opportunities to develop their leadership skills can apply.

Ambassador Applications are due by May 1, 2024. Check with your county Extension office for their submission requirements. Some counties will require you to turn applications into their county office. Other counties may request you to submit your application online. Applicants are interviewed at 4-H Summer Conference in June and the selection is announced.
