n95 Masks

Calling all makers! Easterseals needs your help!

Due to a global shortage of n95 masks, Easterseals Midwest needs washable, cotton masks to provide to our direct support professionals.

These masks will be given to our staff to wear over their current n95 masks, allowing for longer-lasting protection.

If you or anyone you know has skill in sewing, a 3-D printer, or other means to make these masks – we are asking for your help.

Here’s how you can help:

  •  Email info@esmw.org and let them know how many masks you can provide and what area you are providing them to.
  • Download or watch a tutorial on how to make a mask – there are many reputable tutorials out there. This one from JoAnn Fabrics is particularly helpful.
  • Once created, we have drop-off locations in St. Louis, St. Joseph, and Springfield, MO – you will not need to go inside, simply place them outside the office door, and someone will retrieve them.

Thank you for your consideration of this request. As a essential healthcare and community service provider, we support people every day who are at risk. Your support will help us keep both those we support and those who support them healthy and safe.

Thank you!
