A103 Tuesdays & Thursdays @ Lunch

Got a Writing Assignment?

We can Help.

What is the Writing Center?

The BWC is a student-run space where students in all classes can come and get writing help from a fellow student.

Where is the Writing Center?

You can find us in Room A103, which is on the first floor in A hallway, across from the College & Career Center

When is the Writing Center open?

Tuesdays and Thursdays at lunch

How do I sign up to work with a Tutor?

You can just walk in and a Tutor will meet with you!

Does the Writing Center only tutor English assignments?

No! You can bring any kind of writing for any class. Feel free to bring essays, PowerPoints, lab reports, DBQs, poems, etc. We can help with college applications and scholarship essays. If your assignment involves writing, we are here to help! Even if you haven’t started writing yet, our Tutors can help you brainstorm and plan.

What should I bring to the Writing Center?

Bring directions for the assignments you’re working on. You can work on your laptop or we also have computers if you need. We have a printer, too, that you are welcome to use for your assignments.

Can I bring my lunch?

Absolutely! You are welcome to eat your lunch while you work with your Tutor. (Your Tutor will probably be eating lunch, too!)

What if I can only come for part of lunch?

No problem. Come any time that works for you and we can help you out.

We are excited to help you!
