About Numeraire (NMR)
Numeraire (NMR) is an ERC-20 token that powers Numerai, a hedge fund that crowdsources artificial intelligence to make investments in major stock markets around the world.
How Numerai Works
Numerai is software acting as a hedge fund that aims to enable users to trade stocks on the Ethereum blockchain. Using artificial intelligence and crowdsourced stock market predictions, Numerai relies on a monthly machine-learning and data science “tournament” where users submit trading algorithms about the stock market. Numeraire (NMR) holders can stake their NMR tokens every week on specific predictions. Successful predictions are rewarded with more NMR.
