Camp Wings of Friendship is a virtual summer camp experience for teens and adults of all abilities. Join us for an unforgettable summer of fun and friendship!

Camp Dates: June 27th 2022 - August 5th 2022
3 activities per day, Mondays - Fridays: 12 pm EST - 1 pm EST // 2 pm - 3 pm EST // 4 pm - 5 pm EST

- Volunteer counselors are 16+
- Camp is virtual and takes place on Zoom
- Campers are teens and adults with a variety of disabilities and communication needs
- Counselors will lead their cabin with co-counselors and a group of campers
- Counselors participate in camp activities, support and empower their campers
- There will be whole group activities at camp as well as cabin breakout room activities in smaller groups within your cabins
- Camp is led by a speech-language pathologist, experiential educator, volunteer counselors, speech pathology students and a volunteer camp staff of all abilities
- Activities are led by our wonderful community partners. There will be returning activities from previous years and new activities!
- There will be opportunities for counselors to lead activities with the whole camp and their individual cabins
- Activities include: cabin bonding time, theater, cooking, dance parties, field trips, guest speakers + MORE!
- Camp Wings of Friendship was co-developed and is led by two nonprofit organizations, The Friendship Journey of South Florida + Dylan's Wings of Change of Newtown Connecticut

*By signing up as a Volunteer Counselor with Camp Wings of Friendship, you acknowledge that you will be kind, responsible and inclusive. You agree to be present for a minimum of 5 weeks of the 6 week summer.*

If you are documenting service hours, an approved representative from camp can sign forms at the end of the summer. You are responsible for keeping track of your hours and reaching out to campwings@thefriendshipjourney.org to have them signed.
