Roma forward Tammy Abraham was taken off on a buggy during his side’s game against Spezia on Sunday after he suffered a sprain which in turn caused a tear to the ACL in his left knee.
The England international, who joined the Italian club in August 2021, was visibly upset while leaving the pitch in the 80th minute following a collision with opposition defender Ethan Ampadu.
Abraham hyper-extended his knee after landing awkwardly during his club’s final match of the season. He covered his face with his hands while being taken off the field.
