Among the hot topics at Inspire: How Microsoft is redefining ECM

This week at Microsoft Inspire 2018, Microsoft is presenting its content services platform for the future, an end-to-end set of software and services that connects entire workplaces and enables intelligent content management.

Microsoft is redefining legacy enterprise content management (ECM) to serve modern customer needs ranging from highly document-centric industries, to critical compliance-focused scenarios, to collaborative organizations. Our content services platform provides strong security, compliance, and scalability to match current and future requirements for organizations, and provides employees with new content capabilities with anytime, anywhere access.

In today’s market, more and more companies are realizing their content systems are ill-equipped to handle their existing needs and look even worse going forward. With data growth soaring at historical rates, up to 90 percent of organizations are moving from on-premises ECM to cloud-based content services systems in the next two years, for more cost-effective storage and other reasons geared toward the future, according to a 2017 survey by Forrester Consulting for ASG Technologies

Microsoft Content Services Partner Program – Initial Charter Members

Also, this week at Inspire, we’re announcing our Microsoft Content Services Partner Program.  Our partners -- including system integrators (SIs) and independent software vendors (ISVs) – help our customers realize the value of Microsoft 365 more rapidly as they help us deploy this innovative new platform that integrates AI and cognitive services with existing SharePoint and Office 365 technologies.

A select group of partners have completed all the requirements to be recognized as charter members of the program, along with the designation “Microsoft Preferred”.  We think it’s best to let their own success with customers speak for them.  Microsoft greatly appreciates their partnership.
