Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University junior DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) was named to the NABC District 4 Second Team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Campbell added the NABC All-District honor to D3hoops.com All-Region 4 Second Team and NJAC First Team accolades for the 2022-23 season.

Campbell was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches for the second straight year. Last season, he was chosen NABC First Team All-American, District 4 Player of the Year and District 4 First Team.

With only the Final Four and national championship games remaining before the statistics are finalized, Campbell ranks in the top 20 in NCAA Division III in four categories. He is eighth in three-pointers (84), ninth in three-point attempts (232), 10th in field goal attempts (450) and 18th in free throws (132).

Campbell finished second in the NJAC in scoring (18.7 ppg), free throw percentage (.852), three-point field goal percentage (.362) and three-pointers (2.8/game). He also placed third in the conference in minutes (33.4 mpg), tied for third in steals (2.1 spg) and seventh in blocked shots (0.7 bpg).

Campbell's 562 points and 84 three-pointers each were the fifth highest season total in Stockton history. He joined Carl Cochran (1993-97) and Jermaine Clay (1990-94) as the only Ospreys ever to reach 1,500 career points. Campbell moved into third all-time at Stockton in scoring (1,630 points) and second in three-pointers with 250, one shy of the school-record 251 by Cochran.

Campbell reached double figures in 25 of Stockton's 30 games, including 20 or more points 17 times. He poured in a career-high 38 points, the third highest total in Stockton history, versus La Roche in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. In addition to his scoring prowess, Campbell averaged 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, both of which were second on the team.
