Join industry partners from around the state at the next Tourism Insider Meeting in Sioux City on May 21-22.

AGENDA:

Tuesday, May 21 – Sioux City Public Museum  

  • 10:00 a.m. - Host welcome, followed by introductions 

  • 10:15 a.m. - Iowa Tourism Office update 

  • 11:00 a.m. - Accessible Tourism panel 

  • 12:00 p.m. - Lunch (provided) by Crumb. 

  • 12:30 p.m. - Free time to explore downtown Sioux City OR take a guided tour of the Sioux City Public Museum 

  • 1:15 p.m. - Tour the Orpheum Theatre and hear about its historic renovation 

  • 2:30 p.m. – Open Forum or roundtable Q&A at tables 

  • 3:00 p.m. - Working with your local breweries, wineries and distilleries.  

  • 4:00 p.m. – Group photos and meeting wrap-up 
     

Afternoon suggestions: 

  • Jolly Time Pop Corn Museum & Koated Kernels Retail Shoppe (open until 5 p.m.) 

  • Palmer's Olde Tyme Candy Shoppe (open until 5.30 p.m.) 

  • Rooted Boutique (open until 6 p.m.) 

  • Hard Rock Casino 
     

Evening: 
5:30 p.m.: Meet for dinner at Marto Brewing (at your expense) 

Wednesday, May 22- The Miracle League of Sioux City (1001 Riverside Blvd) 

  • 8:15 a.m. - Hidden Gem discussion and workshop 

  • 9 a.m. - Volunteer opportunity with the Miracle League 

  • 10 a.m. - Meeting ends
