Types of Collegiate Membership
BEST VALUE ― Collegiate-to-Career (C2C)
For just a single membership payment, your membership will last throughout your college career and one additional year of professional membership after graduating. All students are required to have an expected graduation date on their account.
Cost: One-time payment of $50 | Bulk C2C memberships available
Collegiate (Annual)
One fiscal year standard collegiate membership. Annual membership for college students majoring in engineering or a STEM field.
Cost: $20/fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)
Global (Discount)
To make SWE membership accessible and available at an equitable price point, SWE provides extensive discounts to individuals from a list of over 180 countries in regions where there is a significant economic variance from the United States (where SWE is headquartered). Discounts range from 50% to 67% off a standard Collegiate one-year membership. Discounts are not available for Collegiate-to-Career memberships. No promo code is needed ― the discount is automatically applied at checkout based on the country entered by the individual.
Recently Graduated?
University graduates with a graduation date within the past 24 months can join as a Professional member at a discounted annual rate of $50.

Your membership runs through June 30, early renewal begins April 1.
