Significantly improved winning percentage in the 285 pound weight class by putting up a 25-12 record, going 11-6 in dual action … Claimed first-place at the Bobby Kaufman Memorial Open in dominant fashion, finishing with a 19-4 technical fall (5:38) in the final … Recorded second-place finishes at the Journeymen Collegiate Classic and Michigan State Open … Given the No. 6 seed in his third consecutive trip to the Big 12 Championships … won his opening bout via a 23-8 tech fall, followed by a 5-3 win in sudden victory, but dropped two of his matches in the heavyweight bracket … Earned his third consecutive NCAA qualification after defeating Michael Wolfgram (WVU) 6-4 in the seventh place bout ... Advanced to the third round of consolations at the NCAA Championships via a 3-2 decision victory over No. 17 seed Taye Ghadiali (Campbell) in the second round. His tournament run ended with a 4-2 loss to No. 8 seed Sam Schuyler (Iowa State) … Finished the season as a top-25 heavyweight in the nation … Named to the Academic All-Big 12 and NWCA Scholar All-American team for the second consecutive season 


2021-22
Second year starting at 285 pounds ... Put up a 14-15 record, going 7-7 in dual action ... Finalist at the Michigan State Open ... Won in a dramatic 3-1 decision over Oklahoma State's Luke Surber thanks to a sudden victory takedown ... Given the No. 8 seed at the Big 12 Championship, taking sixth place to earn his second automatic qualification to the NCAA tournament ... Entered as the No. 30 seed at NCAAs and went 1-2 ... Honored for his academic achievements by being named to the All-Big 12 Academic First Team and an NWCA Scholar All-American.

2020-21
Started at 285 pounds for the Sooners ... Went 10-7 in first season in the lineup, including a 7-3 record in dual action ... Finished fourth at Big 12 Championship and earned No. 19 seed at national championship ... Defeated Binghamton's Joe Doyle to secure first win at NCAA Championship ... Defeated Oklahoma State's Austin Harris in three-straight matches via 3-1, 2-1 and 3-1 decision ... Beat then-No. 9 Nathan Traxler (STAN) in a 10-5 decision to move into the top 25 for the first time ... Closed season ranked No. 17 nationally ... Redshirted ... Wrestled at 285 pounds ... Went 10-4 in Division I competition as an unattached wrestler in his redshirt season ... Notched first collegiate win on Nov. 2, 2019, vs. Buffalo's Greg Hodulick in a 6-2 decision ... Defeated No. 32 Jon Spaulding (EDIN) at the Edinboro Open via 3-2 decision and finished as runner-up.

Won gold medal at 2021 Pan American Junior Championships at 125 kg ... Finished as runner-up at 2021 UWW Junior Nationals ... Outscored opponents 51-13 and defeated Virginia Tech's Hunter Catka to win 125 kg national title at 2020 UWW Junior Nationals.
