HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
The VA World Languages Department celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, beginning Sept. 15th and ending October, 15th.
We are proud of the contributions that Hispanics have made to the United States.
FOREIGN MOVIE CLUB
In Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Middle School Voyagers are invited to join us virtually for an afternoon of film, bonding, and fun on October 11th and 13th from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
Grab a bowl of popcorn and join us on Zoom. The movie club meets each marking period.
WORLD LANGUAGES CAFE
Ready to get back in-person? MS/HS Voyagers are invited to join us at our 15th West Gude Virtual Academy location for a World Languages cafe. Meet new people, celebrate other cultures, mingle, and eat.
Please speak to your World Languages teacher to sign-up.
SEAL OF BILITERACY
10th or 11th-grade students who are multilingual are highly encouraged to take the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy assessment at the Montgomery Virtual Academy.
Take advantage of an opportunity to earn recognition for your language skills.
