Montgomery County Board of Elections - as an election judge, you can earn up to $210 or 25 SSL credits by volunteering at the polls in the next election; must be: 16 years old or older, a U.S. Citizen, and registered to vote (you can register online); see link for more information.

Department of Correction and Rehabilitation - minimum qualifications to be a Correctional Officer are: applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or resident alien; minimum of 18 years of age; possess a valid Class C driver’s license; High School diploma (or G.E.D.); one year of post high school work experience; Fluent in English; see flyer for more information.
Montgomery County Police Cadet Program - graduating senior; planning to attend a local college or university in the Fall; U.S. Citizen; min 18 years old; valid driver's license; interested in becoming a Police Officer with the Montgomery County Department of Police; cadets will be assigned (2) semester rotations (Fall/Spring) per school year in various units, for a maximum of two years; provides an opportunity to learn about the Department and gain on- the- job training; cadets participating in the program receive a salary of $16.75 per hour.
