School Counseling

Vision: All Pine Crest students will grow socially, emotionally, and academically into respectful, lifelong learners.  They are prepared to confidently embrace challenges in order to successfully be leaders who embrace inclusiveness and diversity.

Mission: The mission of the school counseling program at Pine Crest Elementary is to pursue academic and behavioral excellence by creating a safe, equitable, and accessible environment that supports the social, emotional, physical well-being, and academic success of EVERY student by celebrating and embracing diversity.  All students have equitable access to the Pine Crest Elementary School counseling program, which provides developmentally appropriate activities including individual, small group (not during distance learning), and classroom lessons.  The school counselor uses an anti-racist lens to advocate for equity and access to challenging coursework, enrichment opportunities, and differentiated instruction as well as  fairness, justice, and respect for all.
