The mission of Belmont’s proactive and comprehensive school counseling program is to address students' academic and career goals in addition to supporting their personal and social emotional development. This is accomplished by creating a safe, equitable, and accessible environment and a partnership with parents/guardians, staff, and community members to enable all students to become successful, productive citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.

The Montgomery County Hotline is a program of the Mental Health Association, and is designed for callers who may be distressed; depressed, anxious, experiencing loneliness or for those who may need to talk. Workers on the hotline are also able to deal with other mental health issues including suicide.
