It will be directed and choreographed by Mrs. Bentley (2nd grade teacher) and music directed by Mrs. Denney (formerly Ms. Jones) our wonderful music teacher!

The show will be on February 24th & 25th with a production during the school day as an assembly, then an evening performance for parents and families on the 24th. There will be an additional matinee on the 25th at 2:00. Rehearsals will be part of our Fall AND Winter ASEP and program, with the Fall ASEP starting on Mondays AND Tuesdays after school from 2:20-3:20pm. Winter ASEP will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We start winter ASEP on January 3rd.

** Please note that if you are cast you are committing to BOTH the Fall AND Winter ASEP programs. **

The Fall ASEP program will be for the leads and featured ensemble of the show, the Winter ASEP will be CONTINUING rehearsals for the leads and featured ensemble AND then adding set design, stage crew, costumes. The cost for the fall ASEP will be $15 per day plus a $10 supply fee (two days a week, 4 weeks total) totaling $135. The winter ASEP will also be $15, (two days a week, 6 weeks total) totaling $160. Meaning parents will need to pay for both Fall and Winter sessions. See the ASEP flier for more information. There will also be opportunities for only the Winter ASEP sessions to be a part of the drum and percussion ensemble, stage crew, costumes, and set design and construction! Those participants will only need to be a part of the one session for $160.

ALL fourth and fifth grade students will be singing background vocals as their chorus concert. If you want your child to be a lead role, supporting role, or featured ensemble (actually acting and dancing on the stage) they will need to participate in both ASEP programs. The evening and matinee performance is mandatory for leads and featured ensemble, optional for chorus only participants.
