What Happens at the Spring Camp Opening?

Boy Scouts, Venturers & Adults: Join us during the day, to prepare Rum River Scout Camp for the Summer.  This will be an opportunity  to meet new friends, hangs with old friends.  We will have service projects, and also earn conservation based service hours.  You can join Order of the Arrow for lunch..  When our work at camp is done, we will have time for open access activities and games.

 

Cub Scouts & Adults:  Our Cub Scouts will start their day, by doing some service, at camp, at their level.    You can join Order of the Arrow  for lunch .  In the afternoon we will do a hike, and then Craft and game activities.  It will be an opportunity for Cub Scouts to meets new scouts, and adults, to socialize with other Scout Parents.

 

When this part of the day is done, we hope you join us for the District Celebration

 

What Happens at the District Celebration? 

 

First we will enjoy dinner together!  Then we will enjoy the North Winds Dancers.  Then we will all walk down to the O.A. fire ring for the  District Awards Campfire Celebration!

 

This is an opportunity to celebrate those volunteers who have stepped forward to serve this program.

 

All are welcome, All are invited, All should celebrate!

Saturday May 4, 2019 – 7 to 9pm (After dinner).  Rum River Scout Camp OA Ring.

Cub Scouts

10AM            Service Projects

Noon             Lunch  with OA

1:30-3:00      Hike

3:00-5:00      Craft and Game Activities

 

Scouts BSA, Venturers, Cub Scouts, Families and Leaders

5:00-7:00      Dinner

7:00-9:00      District Celebration Campfire

9:00-11:00    Social Time Around the District Fire

Cost, person, for Camp Readiness & District Celebration, including lunch & Dinner $35.00

 

Cost per person for Camp Readiness, with lunch   $10.00

 

Cost per person for District Celebration, with Dinner  $25.00
