MSU Denver Athletics Nets $3,290 for Hygiene Kits

Total of 187 kits were packed for A Precious Child

DENVER – MSU Denver Athletics recently wrapped up its project to build hygiene kits in a partnership with A Precious Child.

With help from the MSU Denver community and MSU Denver athletic supporters who donated products and funding, the Roadrunners were able to pack 187 kits while raising an overall total of $3,290 worth of products.

"We're pleased to announce that we were able to build 187 hygiene kits for our partners with A Precious Child to assist underprivileged Colorado families with children," said Jerrid Oates, MSU Denver associate athletic director. "We want to thank the community and our athletics supporters for their help. This has been a rewarding experience for us as well, and as a department we're continuing our mission to serve our community in multiple ways. We're looking forward to our next project."

There were multiple donors, including Canvas Credit Union supplying the bags for packing.

The hygiene kits went to families in the A Precious Child program free of charge.
