Virtual NSLI-Y will be offered in Fall 2024 (Sept – Nov) and in Winter 2025 (Jan – March). There will be two separate application cycles. Students may only take part in one Virtual NSLI-Y program.

Fall 2024 Key Dates

  • Application opens: Late April
  • Application deadline: June 10, 2024 (Recommendations due by June 13, 2024)
  • Notification of status and placement: Late July 2024
  • Pre-program requirements: August – September 2024
  • Program dates: September 9, 2024 – November 17, 2024 (exact program start/end dates will vary based on class schedule)
  • Post-program requirements: November 2024

Winter 2025 Key Dates

  • Application opens: September 2024
  • Application deadline: October 17, 2024 (Recommendation due by October 21, 2024)
  • Notification of status and placement: Late November – early December 2024
  • Pre-program requirements: December 2024 – January 2025
  • Program dates: January 13, 2025 – March 23, 2025 (exact program start/end dates will vary based on class schedule)
  • Post-program requirements: March 2025
