Backpack Challenge 2023

This year we’re taking it back to the basics, and asking for just 3 things:

A note of encouragement – written on a card, a pencil, or a backpack tag

Backpack – 2-straps, large, and durable

Calculator – TI-80 or higher

That’s it! If you’d like to equip the youth in your community with the supplies they need to positively start their school year then please join our backpack challenge!

2 Options for getting the items to us:

1. Collect at your site and schedule a pick-up or drop-off with DCFS Outreach staff OR
2. Shop online and have it shipped directly to us using the Target Wishlist: https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/backtoschool2023 Or scan the QR code

We kindly request that all donations are received by Monday, July 24, 2023.

Volunteers are needed to help stuff backpacks starting the week of July 24th, if you are interested please contact DCFS Outreach staff to schedule a day and time.
