On Ment, the manager kicks off the discussion with a business-related question. He can invite participants to collaborate and pose tentative answers to the question. Few alternative answers chosen by the manager are then debated by the participants, either supporting or disagreeing with the proposed answers. Ment enables a user to add data sources, and relevant articles or documents from the enterprise drivers to close the view or try to quantify it differently. The scoring engine algorithm based on AI and machine learning analytics identify and score the various viewpoints in terms of credibility and support. Ment is the first smart discussion platform that implements Bayesian and Machine Learning tools to business discussions. “We base Ment’s unique epistemic scoring mechanism on philosophical and mathematical principles to identify smart patterns of agreements and disagreements amongst experts and communities,” remarks Rosenberg.
