IMPORTANT SYSTEM NOTICE
To make certain you will receive communications from ASPB and its manuscript tracking systems, please (a) add ‘aspb.org’, ‘msubmit.net’ and ‘ejpress.com’ to your safe domains list in your email software and (b) contact your ISP or IT department and ask that they whitelist the aspb.org, msubmit.net and ejpress.com domains. 
Please also log into the manuscript system periodically to check the status of your manuscript or manuscript assignments.

As of August 2023, Plant Physiology will now be publishing peer review reports with original research articles. These will be a record of all peer review comments from reviewers and editors, as well as the authors’ response, for each draft of the manuscript. Authors have the option to opt in or out of publishing these reports during the manuscript submission process, but reviewers who agree to review a manuscript should be advised that your comments will be published with the article on the journal website, with the author’s consent. Reviewer anonymity will be strictly maintained.
