Pathways to Advanced Scientific Skills through Postdoctoral Research Training (PASSPoRT)
Thank you for considering Washington University for your postdoctoral research training! This virtual event will be held on October 12-13, 2023.
PASSPoRT to WashU is a virtual 2-day event for prospective postdocs hosted by the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs at Washington University in St. Louis.
PASSPoRT to WashU is open to advanced PhD students (post-qualifying exams), recent PhD graduates, and early-stage postdocs. There is no citizenship requirement to participate.
The first day will offer information on what it means to be a postdoc at WashU and how to get the most out of a postdoctoral experience. The second day is reserved for informational conversations with participating faculty members looking to hire new talent like you!

- 2:50-3:00pm: Closing Remarks

Informational Conversations
October 13th will be reserved for prospective postdocs to have informational conversations with participating faculty members.
Please know that these are informational conversations only and are not meant as part of a formal application to a postdoctoral position. Rather, the goal is for prospective postdocs and participating faculty members to explore the possibility of working together.
In the registration form, prospective postdocs will have an opportunity to select up to three participating faculty members they would like to meet. Our team will work hard to schedule you with as many of these faculty members as we can, schedules permitting. Prospective postdocs and faculty members will receive their individual informational conversation schedules by October 6th.

There are many ways you can find a WashU faculty member who may be of interest for you:
- You can use the Academic Units dropdown menu to select the department or program of interest.
- You can use the Candidate Citizenship Status dropdown menu to filter who among the faculty is looking for postdocs with your citizenship status.
- You can use the Alphabetical Filter to find faculty members organized by their last name.
- You can use the Search bar to type in the name of a faculty member.
