On Monday, May 24th, 2021, Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell were each indicted by a grand jury in the state of Idaho. Celene Beth sits down with cult expert, Rick Alan Ross, and Hidden True Crime Podcast to talk about the recent charges against the doomsday couple and Lori's competency ruling. 

As we last left off on The Chosen Ones, we began to take a deeper dive into the groups Lori and Chad were affiliated with. This included The Church of the Firstborn, Preparing a People, and Another Voice of Warning or better known as AVOW.
While each group has an underlining theme of Mormonism, there are still many questions lingering about their beliefs, their intentions, and most importantly, their members. We’ve examined the major key players in the Vallow and Daybell cases and next season, we will review these specific groups. Now, in today’s episode, we take a quick glimpse into these groups and we recently learned of an intriguing tip that may lead us down a path to more discovery.

The final guest of our first season is the one and only, Sarah Cailean. Sarah is a criminal behaviorist, investigator, former law enforcement officer, HLN commentator, and was a host and executive producer on the HLN series, Hell in the Heartland. The series focused on the cold case from Welch, Oklahoma that has stumped authorities for two decades, concerning the disappearance of two teenage girls, Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman. This case is riddled with the mystery of murder, possible police cover-up, and the unimaginable truth. Sarah and Celene Beth discuss multiple cases pertaining to mothers who have killed their children and how some of them mirror Lori Daybell.
