‘King Richard’ Williams’ estranged daughter says Will Smith should be stripped of Oscar

The estranged daughter of Richard Williams, whom Will Smith portrayed in the flick “King Richard,” wants the actor to be stripped of his Oscar for slapping Chris Rock during the awards show.

“So Will Smith got angry, went overboard and assaulted another person. Then you just can’t apologize two minutes later, you lost your mind. Wow,” Sabrina Williams, 57, told the US Sun

“I agree he should be stripped of the Oscar,” she added.

At the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday, Rock made a “G.I. Jane 2” joke about Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head, which she shaves due to a hair loss condition called alopecia.

Smith stormed the sage and slapped the comic across the face — an assault that reverberated across the world and prompted the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to denounce his actions and announce a “formal review” of the incident.

Sabrina told the news outlet that she could “relate” to what happened on stage because she, too, has alopecia “really bad.”

“But it’s not the time or place. If somebody offends you, you let them know in a private setting, ‘Hey, you offended my wife, I did laugh at the joke, but my wife was offended,’” she said.

“But just to go on stage in the middle of an event and slap somebody, walk back down, and then yell from your seat. That’s just not appropriate,” Sabrina continued.

“If they don’t take the thing from him, they should ban him from attending the event ever again, as that’s just ridiculous. I have no sympathy for him because that’s just irresponsible behavior,” she said.

“He probably needs to seek counseling. I’m not saying he has mental-health issues but maybe he can talk to somebody because that’s not appropriate behavior,” added Sabrina, one of five children Richard walked out on in his first marriage.

Meanwhile, the 80-year-old father of tennis legends Serena, 40, and Venus Williams, 41, has expressed confusion about Smith’s attack on Rock.

“We don’t know all the details of what happened,” Richard Williams told NBC News through his 48-year-old son, Chavoita LeSane. “But we don’t condone anyone hitting anyone else unless it’s in self-defense.”

Sabrina asked about Smith, “Did he learn the violence from my dad as well? Maybe he took the thing too literally.

“But these actors are so entitled, they have their own actor privilege — ‘We can do whatever we want and it doesn’t matter to anybody,’” she told the Sun.

“That’s the proof in the pudding. I can just go slap you up on stage because a normal person in a normal society would get arrested for that crap. But you’re a celebrity and that doesn’t happen,” she said.

“You don’t fight the crap out of somebody with millions of people watching and then there’s no punishment. That’s like saying violence is OK,” Sabina added.

The estranged daughter has assailed her father in previous interviews with the outlet for walking out on his family.

He also was investigated for alleged domestic abuse against Serena and Venus’ mom, Oracene, in 1999 before their split in 2002.

The matriarch told The Post in 2001 that she was unfazed by rumors of abuse at the hands of her publicity-hungry husband — something she did not deny.

Richard Williams and his son Chavoita LeSane, who has power of attorney and cares for him, did not respond to request for comment, the Sun reported.
