Kim Kardashian dreams of starting a ‘successful’ law firm

Kim Kardashian has big aspirations for her law career.

“I dream of one day creating a successful law firm,” the reality star told Vogue Hong Kong in her April 2022 cover story published Friday.

Kardashian, 41, said she has “never worked so hard” on anything in her life as passing the California “baby bar” exam in December 2021.

“I had to be really diligent about studying and dedicated every spare minute I had to it,” she told the mag. “I’m very passionate about criminal justice reform, and I want to advocate for those who I feel they were wrongfully convicted.”

The Skims founder also reflected on how her late father, Robert Kardashian, a successful lawyer who worked on O.J. Simpson’s “Dream Team” in 1995, inspired her to become an attorney.

“Spending time with my father at his office definitely influenced me,” she said. “Doing this work has been in my soul for years, and I’m so proud that I’m now doing this work.”

Kardashian added that her desire to become a lawyer was always in the back of her mind, even when she was just starting her TV career on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

“When I look back at old interviews, when people asked what I wanted to do if I wasn’t filming ‘KUWTK,’ I always said I wanted to be a crime scene investigator or an attorney,” she said. “Being in this line of work has definitely made me feel closer to my dad, and to know that I’m helping people feels really good at the end of the day.”

Kardashian passed the “baby bar,” formally known as the First-Year Law Students’ Examination, after failing the test three times.

“This wasn’t easy or handed to me. I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!!” she shared in a post to Instagram in December after finally passing.

She added, “I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route, but it was my only option and it feels soooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals.”

Kardashian has been passionate about fighting for prison reform and even met with President Donald Trump in 2018 to discuss criminal justice issues.

The KKW Beauty founder has been navigating her own legal troubles as of late amid her divorce from Kanye West. She filed to end their marriage in February 2021 and was declared legally single earlier this month.

Last fall, she started dating “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson, who got a tattoo that reads, “My girl is a lawyer.”
