Partnership Announcement

Ozaukee Washington Land Trust and River Revitalization Foundation (Land Trust) are non-profit environmental conservation organizations that focus on conserving the water resources, natural areas, and working lands of Southeast Wisconsin for the benefit of all. We aim to conserve the regional lands and waters to protect nature, provide wildlife habitat, and support community well-being.

Together the organizations own and actively manage over 36 nature preserves in Ozaukee, Washington, and Milwaukee counties. We believe all people should have access to the outdoors and the opportunity to become a steward of our shared natural resources. We offer public access for the purpose of providing connections to nature through stewardship activities and nature-based recreation in the Milwaukee, Menomonee, and Kinnickinnic River watersheds, as well as the Lake Michigan watershed.

These community-based organizations are run by local people having a shared passion for preserving their communities’ natural heritage. Land Trusts are created to protect land and water resources for the benefit of the public.
