Perseverance Reading Room Art Show 

The Perseverance Reading Room Art Show is a call for art made by anyone in the OSU community (students, faculty, and those unaffiliated with OSU). Art submitted to this show will be on display in the Valley Library Reading Room alongside the Perseverance Book Collection that contains books that have resonated with the OSU Community.


Perseverance can mean the ability to continue after facing something difficult, to keep moving forward, or the act of trying something after being made to think you can't. More than that, Perseverance can be defined by what it means to you. We invite you to submit a work of your original art for this collection that tells us what Perseverance means to you.

Art Requirements
 You can submit up to 2 pieces
-  Artwork must be 2D (Canvas or framed art)
- Artwork can be: painting, drawing, print, typed poem, or any flat work
- 18" x 18" is the maximum size* (email with questions)
- Artwork must weigh less than 10 pounds
- Have a hanging mechanism (hooks or wire in back)

- Submission is open to everyone in the OSU community, this includes students, faculty, staff, and community members unaffiliated with the college

-  All submitted art must follow the theme Perseverance and abide by OSU's code of conduct
