Join Santa Claus and his elves for a magical ride behind the 1912 Polson #2 steam locomotive. Decorated in festive cheer, the heated vintage rail cars transport you along the Willamette River in the heart of the city.
The Oregon Rail Heritage Center is excited to embark on their 18th annual event beginning right after Thanksgiving. Arrive at the festively decorated Center early as you'll want time to absorb the spirit of the season. Train rides pulled by the historic Polson #2 steam locomotive travel along the scenic Willamette River with Santa Claus as a special guest, delighting riders of all ages. Before or after your ride, enjoy concessions, t-shirts, videos, and toys on sale at the Gift Shop at the Center.
Trains run every 90 minutes – please arrive 20 minutes early.
Tickets typically sell out, so it’s best to purchase them in advance.
Daytime trains offer a variety of scenery and a chance to see wildlife.
Early dusk trains offer a great chance to see the train decorated with lights.
