This is an introductory workshop to Matlab for beginners. We will follow a shortened version of the Software Carpentry lesson “Programming with Matlab” (https://osulp.github.io/intro_to_matlab/). We will talk about reading data with Matlab and organize it in variables, vectors, and matrices. We will perform some basic operations on the data (mean, maximums, minimums) and will create some visualizations and save them. We will talk about writing Matlab scripts and functions, and we will write loops and conditional statements. We recommend that you install Matlab in your own computer for the workshop, but you can also access it via Citrix. Please set up your Matlab access before the workshop begins, as there will NOT be workshop time dedicated to doing so. For information about setting up Matlab in your computer visit https://osulp.github.io/matlab-novice-inflammation/setup.html
This session will be offered remotely via Zoom. Registration is required, and Zoom links and passwords will be emailed to registrants the day before the workshop.
