2019-20: Compiled a 21-2 record in his return to the starting lineup… Went 14-2 in duals totaling 54 dual points on the season… Picked up seven ranked wins, which led the team… Ranked No. 1 in the nation at 149 pounds for a stretch of the season… Led the team with nine wins by major decision… Opened the season by going undefeated and taking first place at the OCU Open… Knocked off No. 10 Jarrett Degen by fall and No. 12 Henry Pohlmeyer by an 8-5 decision en route to winning the second Big 12 Championship of his career… Went undefeated in conference matches for the season.... Earned the No. 5 seed in the 149-pound bracket of the NCAA Championships…Received NWCA first-team All-American recognition…

2018-19 (MHW): Took first place at the OCU Open with a pin and technical fall… Competed in two dual meets, one Nov. 17 and the other Jan. 27, but was forced to injury default out of both… Eventually sidelined for the remainder of the season as a result of the injury and received NCAA granted medical hardship waiver. 

2017-18: Went 29-8 at 149 pounds for the Cowboys… In dual matches, posted 29 takedowns, 18 escapes and five nearfalls… Knocked off six ranked opponents on the year… Kicked off the season with first place finishes at the OCU, Lindenwood and Bob Smith Opens, with six of those matches coming by way of technical fall… Went 4-1 at the Reno Tournment of Champions to finish fourth… Got hifirst dual start in Naples, Italy, against NC State… Knocked off No. 18 Jarrett Degen (Iowa State) to kick off the month of February… Brought home one of four individual Big 12 titles for the Cowboys, defeating No. 7 Max Thomsen (Northern Iowa) in the championship match… Defeated No. 9 Thomsen again at the NCAA Tournament and No. 6 Justin Oliver (Central Michigan) to finish eighth and earn All-America status for the first time in his career.

2016-17: Was outstanding in his debut season as a Cowboy, going 11-2 overall at 141 pounds … Recorded five bonus point wins with three technical falls and two major decisions … Opened eyes around the country at the Reno Tournament of Champions, going 5-0 with wins over No. 15 Javier Gasca of Michigan State and No. 9 Bryce Meredith to claim the title at 141 in his first collegiate event … Also competed at the Southern Scuffle, going 2-2 with his two losses coming to top-12 opponents … Won the Golden Norseman Open, defeating teammate Lincoln Olson by way of 19-3 technical fall in the finals.

2015-16: Did not compete due to injury.

High School: Attended Yukon High School in Yukon, Okla. … Put together a 141-9 record under coach Joe Schneider … Three-time Oklahoma high school state champion (2013, 2014, 2015) … Was the 2012 NHSCA Freshman National Champion … Took fifth at Flo Nationals in 2014.

Personal: Born Oct. 20, 1996 to Joe and Shelly Lewallen … Has one sister, Mariah … Majoring in university studies.
