Mom orders Halloween decoration for son, receives X-rated toy instead

Trick, or treat yourself?

An Australian mother was furious to discover that the package of Halloween decorations her young son opened turned out to be a sex doll.

The woman claims to have ordered what was supposed to be a “scary fake corpse in a bag” for her husband and 10-year-old son to decorate the lawn in preparation for the spooky season.

The prop was supposed to come in four pieces including, a black plastic bag, silver tape, string, and an inflatable mannequin with no features and straight limbs, but when the young boy tore into the package he found an anatomically correct female inflatable doll with bent arms, a face, breasts and holes in the front and back.

The upset mother shared the mix-up on a private Facebook group titled “What I Asked For VS What I Got.”

When some questioned why the mother was so rattled by the doll and didn’t just play it cool, she explained that certain parts of the doll were hard to explain away.

“It was more the fact, he noticed the holes in the back/front of the product and started asking questions … the face was easily explained but when there’s holes in intimate areas, that was a little harder to explain!” she said.

“I ordered a Halloween decoration, not a SEX DOLL! That is the point.”

The protective mother shared that she furiously contacted the seller on Amazon who insisted that the product was “exactly” what was ordered but offered a 40% refund.

“We just sent exactly what you ordered, perhaps not as perfect as what you expected. The quality is equal to its price and we really checked it well,” the seller responded.

But the mother was still not satisfied and continued to push for a full refund and public apology. “The money is not the point, you sent me a SEX DOLL and my 10-year-old opened it! I believe that a full refund is in order at the VERY least. I really want a public apology,” the shopper demanded.

The seller informed the mother that a refund has been issued and apologized for the “inconvenience” while the shopper continued to insist that she had not received a refund and lamented the inappropriateness of the product.

Halloween can be a tricky season with some teetering the line between spooky and sexy with people often being called out for “inappropriate” costumes and decor.
