Author James Patterson says Jeffrey Epstein will get his ‘just deserts’

It’s about time sicko Jeffrey Epstein gets what he deserves, says best-selling author James Patterson, who wrote a book about the multimillionaire pedophile.

“Our hope when we did the book was that somehow he’d get his just deserts and now I think he will — and that is terrific,” Patterson said of Epstein’s recent sex trafficking bust in New York.

“This is, for me, the most powerful and disgusting of the #Metoo cases,” said Patterson, whose 2016 book, “Filthy Rich: A Powerful Billionaire, the Sex Scandal That Undid Him, and All the Justice That Money Can Buy,” centers on Epstein’s 2005 sex crime case.

Back then, Florida prosecutors allowed the wealthy perv to plead guilty to just one count of soliciting prostitution from a minor, and he was sentenced to 18 months in jail.

But this time the 66-year-old hedge fund owner will likely face harsher punishment, Patterson said.

“I hope and I suspect the evidence is really strong this time … I don’t think New York prosecutors will be intimidated,” he said. “From everything I’m hearing, people don’t think he’s going to be able to get out of this.”

Patterson isn’t surprised that Epstein has been accused of targeting underage girls again, even after his 2008 plea deal in Palm Beach, Fla., he said.

“The kindest thing you could say about a guy like him is that he has a disease … He was obsessed with very young women,” Patterson said, calling him a “serial” predator who got worse over the years. “The girls he was with would get younger and younger.”

On Saturday, federal authorities found photos of what appeared to be underage girls at his $77 million Upper East Side townhouse, and prosecutors called the evidence against him “devastating.”

Epstein later pleaded not guilty to sex-trafficking charges in a conspiracy in which he allegedly abused “numerous” underage girls inside his Manhattan townhouse and an estate in Palm Beach.

“Filthy Rich,” which was co-authored by John Connolly and Tim Malloy, features police interviews with girls who have alleged sexual abuse by Epstein, along with other fascinating and horrifying details about his previous case.

Patterson, who also writes fictional thrillers, is the world’s best-selling author, according to his website.
