Harlem River Ramp (Northbound Entrance East 126th Street) between 2nd Avenue Southbound and 2nd Avenue Northbound

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Sunday through 5/10/24 for installation of new 13Kv feeders across Harlem River.

FDR Drive Southbound between Jackson Street and Cherry Street

Single-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Sunday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate East Side Coastal Resiliency Project and will continue through September 11, 2026.

FDR Drive between Montgomery Street and East 15 Street

Single-lane northbound and/or southbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 9 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 11 am. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate median reconstruction and will continue through August 15, 2026.

FDR Drive between East 73 Street and East 71 Street

Single-lane northbound will be closed Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5:30 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 11 am next morning. Double-lane northbound will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 2 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 7 am. Southbound FDR Drive service road between East 73 and East 71 Streets, FDR Exit Ramp (Exit 13), and Entrance Ramp to southbound FDR Drive will be closed Monday to Friday from 9:30 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 11 am next morning. These closures will continue through April 30, 2024, and are necessary to facilitate construction of Kellen Tower over the FDR Drive.

FDR Drive Southbound Exit 13 at East 73 Street

Southbound exit ramp at East 73 Street (Exit 13) will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 10 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 11 am next morning, through May 17, 2024, to facilitate re-installing cathodic protection on the live oil line.

FDR Drive Southbound Entrance Ramp between East Houston Street and Delancey Street

Entrance ramp to southbound FDR will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 2 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 7 am, through June 30, 2024, to facilitate access to the manhole/underground facilities.

FDR Drive Southbound at 74 Street

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5:30 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 6:30 am next morning, and Sunday from 12 am to 11 am, through June 30, 2024, to facilitate facade repairs.

FDR Drive Southbound between East 112 Street and East 12 Street

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5:30 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 6:30 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 11 am. Double-lane will be closed Tuesday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 2 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate repairs to the underground facilities and will continue through May 31, 2024.

First Avenue Underpass between 40 Street and 49 Street

One tube at a time in either direction will be closed, Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning, through May 31, 2024, to facilitate inspection, maintenance, and repairs.

New Pedestrian Bridge and Fender Rehabilitation at Robert F. Kennedy Bridge

Single-lane in both directions of FDR Drive/Harlem River Drive will be closed and Willis Avenue ramp from the FDR Drive/Harlem River Drive northbound will be partially closed, Monday to Friday from 10:30 pm to 5 am, Saturday from 12 am to 6:30 am, and Sunday from 12 am to 11 am, through May 1, 2024.

Northbound Route 9A /West Street between Chambers Street and North Moore Street

One of four northbound lanes will be closed on Saturdays from 9 am to 6 pm on April 27, and May 11 to facilitate equipment delivery and installation at Borough of Manhattan Community College.

Northbound Route 9A/West Street between Warren Street and Hubert Street

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. Double-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday from 1 am to 8 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 10 am. Triple-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 8 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate Coastal Resiliency Project and will continue through July 1, 2024.

Southbound Route 9A/West Street between Hubert Street and Warren Street

Single-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 pm to 5 am next morning, and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm. Double-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 9 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 10 am. Single-lane Queens-bound south upper roadway will be closed 24/7, and double-lane will be closed Monday from 9:30 am to 1 pm, Tuesday to Friday from 9:30 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday from 8 pm to 5 am next morning, and Saturday from 5 am to 2 pm. During second lane closure, one Manhattan-bound upper roadway lane will reverse to service Queens-bound traffic. Queens-bound south outer roadway will be closed Sunday to Saturday from 1 am to 6 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate replacement of upper roadway.

Manhattan/Brooklyn

Manhattan Bridge

Single-lane at a time will be closed on upper and lower roadways Tuesday from 9 pm to 3 am next morning to facilitate maintenance. At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times.

Brooklyn Bridge

Pearl Street entrance ramp to eastbound (Brooklyn-bound) Brooklyn Bridge (Ramp B) will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning to facilitate bridge rehabilitation.

Williamsburg Bridge

Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south outer roadway will be closed from Saturday 5 am to Monday 5 am, and Monday to Friday from 5 am to 7 pm. Single-lane Brooklyn-bound south inner roadway will be closed Monday from 10 am to 1 pm and Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. Single-lane Manhattan-bound outer roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 pm to 5 am and single-lane Manhattan-bound inner roadway will be closed Monday to Friday from 8 pm to 5 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate Structural Strengthening and rehabilitation.

Manhattan/Bronx

Madison Avenue Bridge over Harlem River

Single-lane at a time in either direction will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm. Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 7 am next morning. Bridge will be fully closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am. Bronx-bound will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am and Manhattan-bound will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate bridge rehabilitation and will continue through April 30, 2024.

Broadway Bridge over the Harlem River

Right lane in both directions will close Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm and alternating center lane in either direction will close Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm through April 26, 2024, to facilitate rope cable cleaning, machinery repairs, and electrical conduit installation. Alternating sidewalk closures will be in effect.

Washington Bridge over the Harlem River (181 Street)

Single-lane Manhattan-bound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am through May 24, 2024, to facilitate installation of concrete barrier for the protected bike lane.

East 142nd Street between Concord Avenue and Wales Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday for street paving.

Henry Hudson Parkway Bridge over Broadway

Northbound Broadway, in the vicinity of the bridge overpass, will be reduced to one travel lane and parking lane will be closed, through April 30, 2024, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation.

Double-lane in either direction will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5:30 am through April 26, 2024, to facilitate bridge maintenance.

Hutchinson River Parkway Northbound between Exit 1B (East Tremont/Westchester Avenues) and Entrance ramp from Hutchinson River Parkway East

Single-lane northbound will close Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm and 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 am to 3 pm and 11 pm to 3 pm next day, and Saturday from 11 pm to 2 pm next day. Hutchinson River Parkway in the vicinity of the Westchester Avenue Bridge

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am and double-lane will be closed from 12:01 am to 4 am, through April 26, 2024, to facilitate roadway light installation as part of the Westchester Avenue Bridge rehabilitation.

Entrance Ramp from Southbound Sheridan Boulevard (NY-895) to Westbound Bruckner Expressway (I-278)

This ramp will be closed through December 24, 2024, to facilitate Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Project. Trucks and buses are advised to use the exit ramp towards Edgewater Road/Hunts Point Market and follow the detour signs and use the Leggett Avenue entrance ramp to westbound Bruckner Expressway. Cars are advised to use the temporary exit ramp towards Whitlock Avenue and follow the detour signs to westbound Bruckner Expressway.

Grand Concourse Bridge over Metro North Railroad Hudson Line between 151 Street and 153 Street

Two lanes of traffic in both directions are shifted to the southbound lanes and structural steel repair work will continue through April 26, 2024, Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm and 9 pm to 5 am next morning.

Major Deegan Expressway (northbound) between Exit 3 and Entrance ramp north of East 138 Street

Right-lane will become an exit only lane at Exit 3 24/7. Additional lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Saturday and Sunday from 1 am to 8 am, and Sunday night from 10 pm to 5 am next morning through March 3, 2025 to facilitate East 138 Street Bridge replacement. Full closure may occur Monday to Friday between 12 am and 5 am for demolition and erection of the superstructure.

Major Deegan Expressway (southbound) between Exit 3 and Entrance ramp south of East 138 Street

Right-lane will become an exit only lane at Exit 3 24/7. Additional lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am, Saturday and Sunday from 1 am to 8 am, and Sunday night from 10 pm to 5 am next morning through March 3, 2025 to facilitate East 138 Street Bridge replacement. Brooklyn-Queens Expressway between Atlantic Avenue and Clark Street

Single-lane Queens-bound and the Atlantic Avenue entrance ramp to Queens-bound Brooklyn-Queens Expressway will be closed Monday to Friday from 12 am to 5 am through May 10, 2024, to facilitate core extraction and testing.

Brooklyn-Queens Expressway between Atlantic Avenue and Sands Street

Queens-bound will be closed from Saturday 2 am to Monday 4 am, to facilitate critical repairs of the triple cantilever structure. Queens-bound Brooklyn-Queens Expressway entrance ramps at Atlantic Avenue, 3 Avenue, Prospect Expressway, and Hamilton Avenue, will also be closed. Motorists may use the Tillary Street entrance ramp to access Queens-bound mainline. On Atlantic Avenue between Clinton Street and Boerum Place, south side parking lane will accommodate right and thru traffic while two eastbound lanes will be dedicated to left-turn traffic onto Boerum Place. On Canal Street between Chrystie and Allen Streets, westbound lanes will be closed.

Brooklyn-Queens Expressway between Vine Street Entrance Ramp and Atlantic Avenue

Single-lane Staten Island-bound will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 1 am to 9 am, through May 3, 2024, to facilitate core extraction and testing.

Also, single-lane in both directions on the Belt System Lauralton Parkway underpass will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning and double-lane will be closed from 1 am to 5 am through May 22, 2024. One lane in each direction will be maintained. These closures are necessary to facilitate bridge underdeck rehabilitation.

These closures are necessary to facilitate bridge rehabilitation and will continue through September 30, 2024.

Van Wyck Expressway

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 6 am, Friday from 11:59 pm to 8 am, Saturday from 11 pm to 10 am, and Sunday from 10 pm to 6 am. Double-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 4 am and Sunday from 1 am to 7 am. Double-lane will be closed Friday from 11 pm to 7 am for northbound and from 11 pm to 5 am for southbound. The exit and entrance ramps along the north and southbound of the expressway may also be closed. These closures are necessary to facilitate roadway widening and will continue through July 14, 2025.

Van Wyck Expressway between Northern Boulevard and Long Island Expressway

Double-lane in either direction will be closed Monday and Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Tuesday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning, Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 12:01 am to 9 am for southbound and 12:01 am to 7:30 am for northbound. These closures are necessary to facilitate reconstruction of Roosevelt Avenue Bridge and will continue through May 10, 2024.

Van Wyck Expressway between Long Island Expressway and Pedestrian Bridge over Van Wyck Expressway

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 5 am. Double-lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 6 am for southbound and from 12:01 am to 5:30 am for northbound. These closures are necessary to facilitate flood mitigations and will continue through June 30, 2024.

Van Wyck Expressway in the vicinity of Roosevelt Avenue Bridge

Single-lane northbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 9 pm to Saturday 12 pm, and Saturday 8 pm to Sunday 12 pm. Single-lane southbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 9 pm to Saturday 3 pm, and Saturday 8 pm to Sunday 3 pm. Double-lane northbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 12:01 am to 7:30 am. Double-lane southbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 6 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 12:01 am to 9 am. At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. These closures are necessary to facilitate reconstruction of Roosevelt Avenue Bridge and will continue through July 2, 2024.

Springfield Boulevard Bridge over Belt Southern Parkway

Single-lane in each direction on the Belt Parkway, in the vicinity of the Springfield Boulevard Bridge overpass, will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning and double-lane will be closed from1 am to 5 am. These closures are necessary to facilitate rehabilitation of the Springfield Boulevard Bridge and will continue through April 26, 2024. One lane in each direction will be maintained. Also, Single-lane in each direction on the bridge will be closed Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2 pm through April 30, 2024, to facilitate median reconstruction.

Laurelton Parkway in the vicinity of 130 Avenue Bridge

Single-lane in both directions will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am and double-lane will be closed from 1 am to 5 am through April 30, 2024, to facilitate installation of Shielding Brackets on the under-deck of the 130 Street Bridge. One lane in each direction will be maintained. Due to clearance reduction, vehicle's height over 9-5 inches for northbound and 7-11 inches for southbound, are advised to exit prior to approaching the 130 Street Bridge overpass.

Long Island Expressway between Clearview Expressway and Springfield Boulevard

Single-lane eastbound mainline will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm, Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 11 am next morning. Double-lane eastbound mainline will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 9 am. Single-lane westbound mainline will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 10 pm to 6 am next morning, and Saturday from 10 pm to 11 am next morning. Double-lane westbound mainline will be closed Monday to Friday from 1 am to 5 am, Saturday from 1 am to 6 am, and Sunday from 2 am to 9 am. Mainline closures will continue through September 30, 2024. Single-lane of service road (Horace Harding Expressway) westbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 5 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to Saturday 3 pm, and Saturday from 11 pm to 9 am next morning. Service road closures will continue through December 31, 2024. These closures are to facilitate replacement of Oceania Street Bridge.

Long Island Expressway between Van Wyck Expressway and Grand Central Parkway

Single-lane westbound on the mainline and service road will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 pm to 5 am next morning. Single-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 11 pm to 6 am next morning. Ramp from eastbound service road to eastbound Grand Central Parkway will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am and motorists are advised to detour to next entrance ramp by 72 Road. These closures are necessary to facilitate flood mitigations and will continue through June 30, 2024.

Long Island Expressway between Queens Midtown Tunnel and Nassau County Line

Shoulder and adjacent lane will be closed Monday to Friday from 10 am to 2 pm on the eastbound and from 10 am to 3 pm on the westbound, through November 1, 2024, to facilitate electrical repairs.

Double-lane eastbound will be closed Monday to Friday from 12:01 am to 5 am, Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am, and Sunday from 12:01 am to 7 am. Eastbound Exit Ramp 2S will be closed Monday to Thursday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, Friday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning, and Saturday from 11 pm to 7 am next morning. These closures are necessary to facilitate JFK Redevelopment Program and will continue through December 31, 2025.

This street will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm Friday, and 8 am to 4 pm Saturday through 6/19/24 for 36” gas transmission main installation.

Tompkins Avenue Bridge over Greenfield Avenue

Single-lane and parking on the east side of the bridge will be closed Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm through May 17, 2024, to facilitate bridge rehabilitation. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times.

Iona Street between Father Capodanno Boulevard and Quincy Avenue
