In the third episode of Prescribed Listening, The University of Toledo Medical Center cardiologist Dr. Blair Grubb explains the wide-ranging symptoms of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and his breakthrough research that may provide a roadmap for new diagnostic methods and treatments for the frequently misunderstood and misdiagnosed condition.

Grubb, who has been studying the condition and treating POTS patients at UTMC for more than 30 years, is one of the world’s foremost experts in syncope and disorders of the autonomic nervous system.
