Historically Soil and Water Conservation Districts promoted erosion control, water quality and enhanced wildlife habitat on agricultural lands with the help of governmental and no-governmental partners.
Today the MSWCD holds true to its roots, while also providing technical guidance, cost-share program assistance and education programming detailing a diverse range of conservation issues.
