PETITION FOR TERRITORY TRANSFER LEGALLY SUFFICIENT

County Committee to Consider School Boundaries for Aspire Solaire Neighborhood


Auburn, CA – In accordance with California Educational Code Section 35700 (Title 2, Division 3, Part 21, Chapter 4: Reorganization of School Districts), a petition for transfer of territory for the Aspire Solaire neighborhood was deemed legally sufficient by the Placer County Superintendent of Schools Gayle Garbolino-Mojica. The petition meets the minimum threshold of required signatures, which is 25 percent of the registered voters residing in the territory.

The petition requests the school boundaries of the Aspire Solaire neighborhood, located in the Westpark area of Roseville, be transferred from Center Joint Unified School District to Roseville City School District and Rosveille Joint Union High School District.

Next Steps
The Placer County Committee on School District Organization (County Committee) is charged by the state to study and make recommendations and decisions on school district reorganization. The Placer County Committee will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 to obtain public response to the territory transfer request.
