Dear Howard University Community,

You are invited to join us on November 1 at Cramton Auditorium for an afternoon focused on your well-being. Cigna and Yard Talk 101 have partnered together to bring “Fit For You” events to students of historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in an effort to break generational stigmas, provide behavioral health education and resources, and encourage student ambassadors to help drive healthier generational outcomes by sharing their experiences.
Check out the video here for more details on the exciting upcoming event!
The event experience includes:
  • Free biometric health screenings at the Cigna Health Improvement Tour bus. Learn about your four health numbers and talk to a health coach on site about your screening results. It only takes 15 minutes. It will take place from 2-6 p.m.
  • Information about career and internship opportunities at Cigna, 6-7 p.m.
  • Mental Health Panel Watch Party moderated by Jahliel Thurman, CEO of Yard Talk 101. Our very own Lance Gross, actor and Howard University alum, and Elizabeth Bolarinwa, HU ’23 director of campus health, will be a part of this dynamic panel discussion from 7-8:30 p.m.

Share this event with your friends. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more on how you can start to take steps to a healthier you!
