Charity Auction Update!!
The GVNC Holiday Luncheon & Charity Auction GiveSmart website  gvnc19.givesmart.com  is now open for viewing and bidding.
You do not need to be in attendance to bid on silent auction items, but you (or your proxy) do need to be at the luncheon to bid on Live Auction Items. 
To bid remotely, your credit card information needs to be on file in GiveSmart, via the "My Info" menu item.
 

Group Opportunities

There are several opportunities for groups to bid on an item.  So gather your friends, but only the group leader should bid so that you are not competing against yourselves.

 
Silent Auction #107:    Wine & Creating for 12.  Invite your friends (up to 12) and choose a project (painting, wreath, scrapbooking...) Then you'll sip some wine and enjoy step-by-step instruction for your customized project with an experienced and enthusiastic local artist at Sassy Sisters' new location. It's a colorful, casual party atmosphere where you'll leave your cares behind and go home with a one-of-a-kind creation.

Silent Auction #156:    Now We're Cookin'.  The 10 of you will become masters in the kitchen learning simple, healthy ways to cook gluten-free with this Gluten-Free Cooking Class at Gluten-Free Prairie. Take along two bottles of 2016 Francis Coppola Claret Cabernet Sauvignon to share.

Homemade with Professional Flair
Need a fabulous dessert for a dinner party, or having houseguests?  Sandy LaPointe will create 5 gourmet desserts to serve eight (or more) for your entertainment needs. If you have seen and tasted Sandy’s creations, you know you want this auction item!  And, with 5 different dessert deliveries, you can look forward to cupcakes, cakes, or tarts tantalizing your sweet imagination. Sandy will work with the hostess to determine what the product will be, prepare and deliver it.



"Best AirBnB - Outside Magazine
A two-night stay at the most popular AirBnB in Montana.  Mary May’s five-star rated Carriage House studio is set in a stunning landscape of mountains, wildlife, and a wide creek. The reclaimed timber studio was named the “Best Airbnb” by Outside magazine and is located just 20 minutes south of Bozeman.  It will accommodate 2 adults.  A family with young children is also welcome.  While there, enjoy a trail ride at Broken Hart Ranch, where the wranglers will take you on a gorgeous ride up a mountain trail into the backcountry, through pristine pine forest, over mountain streams and high into the alpine wilderness.  Add an adventure to your getaway with a wild ride down the Gallatin River with Montana Whitewater Rafting on a half-day rafting trip for 2 people.



Birds and Banquet
Private tour for up to 20 people in early June at the Montana Raptor Conservation Center.  Learn about raptors’ habits, their amazing adaptations, diets, and role in Montana’s ecosystems.  Then enjoy a scrumptious lunch, catered by the GVNC Board, at a nearby private home.  The Montana Raptor Conservation Center rescues distressed raptors; provides medical care, releases raptors able to rejoin the wild; and provides a lifetime home for unreleasable raptors.  The Center is located off Springhill Road in Bozeman.



A Hardy Welcome to the Big Hat (no cattle) Ranch
The Big Hat Cabin is a charming little getaway decorated to be comfortable and cozy. The cabin includes a comfortable living room, fully equipped kitchen and eating bar as well as a spacious bath with shower. The loft bedroom has a queen and long twin, up a wide ladder, easy to climb. On the main floor, there is a queen sleeper sofa that has a pillow top mattress that air fills in a short time. There are two porches, back and front, where the view to the mountains is a photographer’s delight. There is a fire pit where you can enjoy sitting around telling stories and eating a good BBQ as well as three catch and release ponds stocked with rainbows and browns. For world class fishing, the ranch is close to the Madison, Jefferson, Big Hole, Beaverhead and the Missouri rivers. Cabin use for 2 full days and nights during the week (no weekends) in June, July, or August, 2020.



Private Fly Fishing Lessons and Delicious Lunch
Casting and Fly-Fishing Class offered by Gayle Knapp, Warriors and Quiet Waters executive, on Nancy Xander’s private casting pond.  This is a Beginning 4-hour fly fishing lesson for up to 6 women/adults, with equipment furnished by Warriors and Quiet Waters. This package includes a delicious lunch catered by the GVNC Board in Nancy’s beautiful new home. Gayle Knapp has been teaching students of all ages how to fly fish for 15 years in Montana. She has been an instructor with Montana State University-Billings, Casting for Recovery and now, with Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation.  Scheduling of the class will be at a mutually agreed upon date and time.
