Decoding the Weather Machine Film Discussion and Presentation

Decoding the Weather Machine Film Discussion and Presentation Online

Hosted by the LSU Libraries very own Kathleen M. Benedetto, B.S., M.S.W., Ph.D Candidate, Geography and Anthropology. Kathleen will briefly discuss the film along with a presentation on basic information about hurricanes, climate change and hurricane hazards along the Gulf Coast with a focus on rapid intensification and hurricanes.

We will NOT be watching the movie during this presentation. If you have not had a chance to watch it, but are still interested in viewing the movie, it is available through the East Baton Rouge Parish Library's Kanopy service: https://ebrpl.kanopy.com/product/nova-decoding-weather-machine In order to view the movie through this link, you will need to have an EBRPL library card to login.

The movie is also "Google-able" and can be found online through other less official websites.

Apologies for any inconvenience! Looking forward to "seeing" everyone tonight, and if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please don't hesitate to reach out!
