The current market conditions have greatly impacted credit unions’ earnings. Now, more than ever, credit unions must explore every aspect of their income statement to maximize their earnings. In this session, you'll learn strategies on ways to keep your earnings flowing by exploring both sides of the income statement – fee and other income and operating expenses and you'll hear about industry trends.

Presented by: Pete Pritts, President/CEO, Corporate America Credit Union
Teams are the backbone of every organization, including credit unions. Whether it be the executive team, the sales team, or a project team, the goal is always success. But it takes far more than putting a group of people together to form an effective team. Beyond that, even the most effective team must maintain focus to generate desired results. Learn the secrets of how successful teams have combined effectiveness and focus to accomplish their goals.

11:00 a.m. Fraud - Examples and How to Stop It
Presented by: Marcus King, Vice President, CU Audit and Compliance Group
Learn what auditors are looking for when they audit your credit union and discover CUACG’s most common findings and how your credit union can avoid them. CUACG will also share insight into instances of fraud commonly seen in the past and discuss how your credit union can prevent this fraud from happening to you.

Presented by: Laura Gober, Vice President of Compliance & Regulatory Services, LSCU & Affiliates
Keeping up with the ever-changing compliance environment can be tough. During this session you will be provided with an update on recent regulatory changes and how they might affect your credit union.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing and received by 5:00pm on Wednesday, September 2nd. No refunds will be issued after this time. Substitutions are always welcome. Please submit cancellations and substitutions to education@lscu.coop.

Small CU Initiative Account

SAS credit unions ($50 million in assets or less) may apply a portion of their $500 SAS CU Initiative Account to the registration fee for this event or any LSCU or League Service Corporation product and/or service. As LSCU bills your credit union for the events/services used, your credit union can simply write on the invoice that it is to be paid out of your LSCU Small Credit Union Initiative Account. The League’s accounting staff will keep track of the expenditures from your account.
