North Carolina Teacher Working Conditions (NCTWC) Survey Feedback

The NCTWC Survey serves as a critical tool for assessing the various aspects of the teaching profession, including classroom environment, school leadership, professional development, and more. Its primary purpose is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the conditions under which teachers work, allowing us to identify areas of strength and areas that may require improvement.

NCDPI needs your feedback and input in our efforts to improve the validity and reliability of the NC Teacher Working Conditions Survey, while reducing the number of items and data collection burden on our educators, schools, and districts. We have divided the survey into 12 domains, each focusing on different aspects of the teaching experience. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback on one domain at a time. Your responses will be anonymous. Your participation is instrumental in helping us understand the needs of teachers across the state, improve work environments, and shape policies that directly impact educators like you.
